Is Article Marketing Finished?

After Google’s recent Panda update, the biggest article marketing website in the world EZine Articles lost rankings for thousands of it’s keywords. This has led to many debates whether article marketing is now as effective as it once was.

Yeah it sure is. The goal with article marketing is not for your article to sit on an article directory and get one crappy directory link. The goal is for it to get picked up by other webmasters and placed on their websites. You receive links back from the articles to your website. The goal is mass syndication.

You want your article to be spread out as widely as possible. To do that you need to write amazing or in demand content. The type of content that people want to put on their site. The type of content that webmasters crave to feed their audience. And don’t worry about some duplicate content myth if thousands of the same article copies gets spread all over the web.

Duplicate content only loosely applies to having the same content reproducd more than once on your site. If you also have a website that contains no original content but just reproduced content the dupe content may apply. But mainly ths is used by marketing companies as a scare tactic to drive you to purchase some article spinning software that spins your text so you can place thousands of unique though highly unreadable content across the web.
