I just read a fascinating post over at seachengineland.com related to keyword research. This is the foundation of all good seo campaigns. If you target the wrong keywords all your seo efforts could be wasted.
Traffic volume is not the only thing to focus on when selecting keywords, but conversions, and how they fit your audience. Some keywords convert better than others. Microsoft have an ad lab that gives a score for each keyword you input. The higher the score the more commercial a keyword is according to their analysis parameters.
