I like Rand Fishkin. He is the co-owner of Seo Moz one of the leading seo software companies in the world. Highly regarded by seo pro’s. So much so that many pay the 2k monthly fees.
His software is analytical rather than a link building fix or anything like that. I like Rand for his confessional methods. He revelas in pain staking details many methods of the seo puzzle. This leads to many more secretive seo’s who charge over the odds to pull their hair out. Rand doesn’t like people to get ripped off.
It’s amazing how one guy and his mum transformed a marketing business into one of the biggest seo consultancies in the world. Sadly he has just missed out on a multi million dollar deal that would have let his company expand into the social media market. He thinks it’s due to speculation as their August turnover dipped slightly but that’s quite normal in August in the seo world.
